MAZ
SHE/HER
Welcoming. Supportive. Energising. That’s the vibe Maz brings to every class.
Her first glimpse of pole was on a talent show, and she thought it looked amazing — but never something she could do. A few years later, while a friend was recovering from a gym injury, they convinced Maz to try a pole class. She said yes immediately and has been hooked ever since.
What kept her coming back was the perfect mix of strength and dance, the joy of focusing on what her body can do, and the friends she made along the way.
In class, you can expect fun and light-hearted energy with plenty of encouragement to push past your comfort zone. Maz celebrates the little wins, whether it is nailing a trick, improving your form, or simply giving something new a go.
Her style is bouncy and flowy, her go-to tricks are plus-signs and static-Vs, and her playlists are upbeat, funky, and fun.
Students say she is a little silly, genuinely excited for their progress, and always the loudest to cheer when they surprise themselves.
Outside of the studio, Maz loves board games, especially Catan. She is not overly competitive, but she does love to cause chaos.
She hopes you leave her class feeling stronger, prouder, and smiling from ear to ear.
