Her pole journey began with burlesque, a way to reclaim her body, her confidence, and her sensuality after some tough times. Burlesque opened a door, but it was pole that kept her coming back. At a showcase she saw a Duality teacher perform with heel clacks, flips, and raw sexuality. From that moment she knew she needed to learn to dance like that.
Pole is hard, but what keeps Amy hooked is the variety. There are endless ways to discover yourself. Tricks, choreography, freestyle, performance. Each brings out something new.
Her classes are warm and encouraging, a space where students can safely explore their self-expression. Expect performance notes, form refinement, and a whole lot of love.
Her special sauce is performance itself. When the music starts, Amy drops in. She is not the same person you saw walking into the studio. She becomes the show.
Her playlists are pop rave heaven. Beyoncé, Gaga, Charli. If it is dramatic and danceable, Amy is moving to it.
Students say they feel comfortable speaking up in her classes. They leave with new ideas and with the sense that they have been truly seen.
Off the pole, Amy is a film photography lover. She is often behind the lens turning an everyday walk into an impromptu shoot.
